About the Team
The AI Integration team is the critical bridge between our core user services and the cutting
edge of Data Science and AI team. We don't just use AI; we architect the systems that make AI
production-ready. As a proxy between backend services and DS/AI, we ensure that Agentic AI
and LLM-backed services are seamless, performant, and reliable. We are a high-impact team
operating at the intersection of full-stack engineering, distributed systems, and integrating
modern AI orchestration.
What You Will Do
As a Software Engineer, you will be the technical anchor for our AI integration strategy. You will be responsible for integrating agentic solutions into user interfaces and product experiences, ensuring our React/Node.js stack interacts efficiently with complex LLM backends. 
You will manage senior engineers, set the standard for system design, and collaborate directlywith ML/AI engineers to turn experimental models into scalable product features.
  • Bridge the Gap: Act as the primary technical liaison between ML/AI engineers and Product Engineering, ensuring RAG pipelines and LLM outputs are integrated into high-throughput production environments.
  • Drive Technical Excellence: Set the vision for our stack and lead the adoption of gRPC and microservices.
Responsibilities
  • System Design: Own the architectural roadmap for AI-integrated services, focusing on low-latency, high-throughput, and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with PMs and ML/AI engineering leads to translate ambiguous AI capabilities into concrete technical requirements and reliable software.
  • Full-Stack Ownership: Lead the development of sophisticated chat interfaces
  • Mentorship & Culture: Raise the bar for the entire engineering organization through code reviews, design docs, and fostering a culture of technical rigor.
  • Operational Excellence: Improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Terraform) and testing strategies (Jest/Playwright) specifically for the non-deterministic nature of AI outputs.

Technical Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with a proven track record of leading complex projects at scale.
  • Mastery of the Stack: Deep expertise in Node.js (NestJS preferred) and modern React/TypeScript.
  • Distributed Systems: Extensive experience with message brokers (Kafka) and architecting for high-concurrency workloads.
  • Data Literacy: Strong proficiency in both relational (PostgreSQL) and analytical/columnar databases (ClickHouse).
Must Have
  • AI Integration Experience: Demonstrated experience working with LLMs or integrating LLM models into production software.
  • Systems Thinking: The ability to design for "The Whole"—from the UI state management to the infrastructure scaling in AWS.
  • Testing Rigor: Experience building robust testing suites for complex, distributed applications.
Very Nice to Have (Highly Preferred)
  • Staff-Level Leadership: Proven experience in a technical leadership role, driving cross-team initiatives and mentoring senior-level talent.
  • Agentic AI & RAG: Hands-on experience integrating Agentic workflows or RAG-based applications into production systems.
  • Modern API Protocols: Deep understanding of gRPC and Protobuf for high-performance internal communication.
  • DevOps/Infra: Practical experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
  • UI for AI: Experience building streaming chat interfaces and complex UX for AI-driven tools.
