UI/UX Designer
Our client is a company developing a data-driven analytics platform for hotels in Germany and the DACH region. The product helps clients make smarter financial decisions by providing clear insights from large amounts of tables and financial data.
We are looking for a Freelance UI/UX Designer to improve the interface and user experience before the product launch.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate on a project-based assignment to deliver UI/UX improvements.
Enhance UI/UX of a data-heavy analytics platform.
Design clear and user-friendly interfaces for large datasets and dashboards.
Create a visual style aligned with modern, clean, and professional design standards.
Work closely with an international team serving clients in the DACH region (1st priority) and North America (later).
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, ideally across both web and mobile products.
Hands-on experience working with startups, including driving discovery workshops and shaping early product design phases from concept to MVP.
Experience of participating in presales and gathering requirements - actively engaging with stakeholders, running interviews or workshops, translating business needs into clear design goals, and defining market problems that inform product direction.
Strong proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Knowledge of design systems and component libraries with the ability to create scalable, reusable design assets.
Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
Understanding of UX principles for data-heavy applications (tables, dashboards, analytics) to ensure usability in complex fintech domains.
Collaborative experience of working with engineering teams by implementing UI UX changes and continuously improving user flows.
Good communication skills in English (German is a plus, but not mandatory).
Additional notes:
We’re interested in a project-based cooperation with a possible hourly rate. At the moment, we are supporting several clients where UI/UX expertise will be needed in upcoming phases.
This means the designer will have the opportunity to work with us on a long-term, project-based basis, contributing across different products and domains while ensuring continuity and growth in their role.
