About the project
Join a FinTech product building a Risk Intelligence as a Service (RIaaS) platform for alternative investment funds and asset managers.The platform automates risk analysis, KRI monitoring, regulatory compliance, breach detection, dashboards, and regulator-ready reporting.
We’re looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer who takes ownership beyond screens and deliverables — from understanding the problem and challenging assumptions to defining the design direction and driving the experience through to the final product.
It’s a great opportunity to work on a complex, data-heavy FinTech product where business logic, security, and engineering quality are critical.Responsibilities
Shape products from the early stages — from discovery and problem definition through concepts, MVPs, and further iterations.
Work directly with stakeholders to understand their business, users, and market challenges.
Lead or contribute to discovery workshops, interviews, and presales activities, turning conversations into clear product and design directions.
Design intuitive experiences for complex, data-heavy products — dashboards, analytics, tables, workflows, and information-rich interfaces in the fintech domain.
Translate complex functionality into simple and understandable user experiences.
Develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
Create and evolve design systems and reusable component libraries that can scale across products.
Work closely with engineers throughout implementation — not just hand over designs, but continuously refine the experience together.
Explore how AI can improve the design process and the products we create, while keeping human needs and business value at the center.
Requirements
5+ years of commercial UI/UX design experience, ideally across web and mobile products.
Experience working with startups or early-stage products, including taking ideas from concept to MVP.
Strong experience in product discovery and the ability to move beyond predefined requirements.
Hands-on experience with presales, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements gathering.
Ability to identify the underlying business or user problem rather than simply execute a requested feature.
Strong proficiency in Figma.
Solid understanding of design systems, component libraries, and scalable design practices.
Strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, user flows, interaction design, and visual design.
Experience designing data-heavy applications such as dashboards, analytics platforms, financial products, or other complex B2B systems.
Comfortable working closely with developers and understanding the practical realities of implementation.
Actively use modern LLMs (like Claude Code, Cursor) in your day-to-day workflow to speed things up, prototype faster, and explore how AI can solve real user problems;
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
English — confident working proficiency.
Nice to have
German is a plus, but not required.
